The simultaneous organisation of swimming pool and open water championships which started in 2006 continued during the years 2009 to 2013.
In 2013 were organised the CMAS Games, where all CMAS competition disciplines were held in the same place and at the same time. Those were the second (and last) CMAS Games after the ones held in 2007.
